Kurt Hamlet, yes.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

How's about a bass?
Meet "Barbarella", @74 BecVar fretless, held by yours truly. No wonder I'm smiling. In the mirror - "Super 400" from Troy NY, with the lovely & talented Lori Friday taking the snap. I'll try to get another in-focus close up of her if anyone asks. The bass I mean...

This came in the shop today for sale, had to buy it. I hope $700 wasn't too much.

neck is poly with nitro over face of headstock, not sure if the body is nitro or poly yet. Body does have red on the back.Reeltarded wrote:Transitional period decal and faded red band. Umm.. early '66-'67..

Grovers are stock with Fender logos which is pretty sweet. Neck was shimmed at the factory so it has the heal warp which is nice and needs a board plane and refret. The truss rod is very good and not stupid tight.
Poly should put it at '68+, it was nice of someone to remove the date stamp tho.

Here's my number one -- it is a Wildwood 10 1961 Relic. It's one of those that I instantly knew was better than the lot of strats that I've owned. It isn't going anywhere any time soon.
