OT Tranny ID help!

I have a black output tranny from a 50 watt amp with the following numbers and writing on it:

OIN - TRAN 3011
30 - 8815


Any way to ID it?

Looks to me like it is a

CIN-TRAN 3011
30 - 8815

This came out of a Baldwin electronic (transistor) organ. I THINK it's an output transformer, but not 100% certain. Numbers on it are:

C0512-042756A
CIN-TRAN 429D

4 wires coming out of a single hole in the side - 2 green, 2 black.

First question, before I waste any more time, is there any possibility that it will be of any use in a tube circuit? (was thinking along the lines of a Champ clone or some such.)

Any measurements I might make with an LCR meter that would be meaningful (and what should I be looking for?)

You can try the Transformer this way

However you must remember that if the windings are rated for SS circuit, also if you find a good primary/secondary impedance to be used with tubes, the isolation of the wires isn't specific for high voltages, so limit the use to low B+ amps

Thanks for the pointer. As it turns out, I located the schematics and it's actually a power transformer that was used exclusively to power the light bar over the console, and it's output is . . . 6.3V! How cool is THAT! Got myself a dedicated filament transformer! Sometimes things just fall into place 8^)

A transformer used only for the light bar ............... what about the weight ?

I fear the transformer has a low current rating
