It's like a Super Lead, but LOUDER!!!

Their room at the NY Amp Show was incredibly loud. Good tone as well, as it brought many smiles to us rockers' faces.

I saw these posted over at Metro.

The builder is apparently the amp tech for AC/DC.

So maybe Wizard is a play on words, wizard of OZ.

His prices seem way up there for a comparable amp.

When I looked at his website it says they are made in Canada.

Angus and Malcolm seem to like them. :D

Surely you fellows have heard of Wizard amps made in Canada and used by AC/DC haven't you? This one is on Ebay and there was no reserve and the bidding was low so if you need one of these bedroom amps you could score it cheap.

100 Watts for the bedroom?

I'm ok with that, the rest of the family wouldn't be.

Sounds like a recipe for ensuring that you get the bedroom all to yourself.

Permanently.

Rather than using those large caps laying in the chassis like that why would a person not use multi-cap cans? There has to be a good reason for not using them.

I heard one of these demo'd at NAMM maybe 10 yrs. ago.
In one of those soundproof rooms [I didn't last long.]
It was quite an experience. You could almost hear that bunch of capacitance the way the bottom end came up when he chopped chords and muted.
