This is not something I would normally post in an amp forum but I just wanted to post something to let everyone know that we are fine and I hope to start shippping and answering emails and requests starting again on 7/20. The new transformers are in.

Richie and I lost our mother on Friday after a very unexpected and brief illness and we have been pretty much living at the hospital over the last couple of weeks.

Dana, I am very very sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my condolences for you, Richie and the rest of your family. These are toughest of times for you and the last thing you should be thinking about are the amps, PTs etc. Please take your time to look after your family at this time of grief. There is nothing more important now. Prayers be with you and yours.

Oh man Dana, I am so sorry for you loss.
I know how that hospital scene is.
I lost my father in 05.

You and your family are in my prayers for comfort in this time of grief.

Regarding your words about speakers, I know Weber offers two 6" speakers, one ceramic ($30), and one alnico ($45), for use in the small, early Fender type amps. 15 watts each, and the alnico has three different cone options.

Been a while since this was posted so I'm wondering if anyone tried these speakers on the Lil Devil. I'm thinking of building either a 2 x 6 or a 4 x 6 cab with these guys. Can't imagine how it will sound though.
