1966 showman ceasar diaz
This amp takes about five minutes to come on, than goes off after a few notes are played. If I shake the first power tube the pre-amp tubes go on and off. I thighten the tube sockets and switched the power tubes around. I know this amp was modified becauce it signed and dated by Ceasar Diaz under the cap cover and on the chasis....Any ideas? thanks

I might think a bad solder joint or a broken pin connector internal on the socket. Just a guess. A place to start being it shows up when moving the tube.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird , and they take Prozac to make it normal.

Check the heater wires from the power tubes to the preamp tubes.

When it goes "off", does the pilot light shut off too, or just the sound?
I would check the voltages before it is fully on, and when it "shuts off" to see where there is proper voltage and where there isn't. For example, see if the heater voltage drops off, or if the bias voltage dies.
