Welcome to the board and good luck with your build!

I just finished my bassman style build and I used Normsters layout with Dogears tweaks. I am still fine tuning the amp but it sounds great!

Howie,
You may also want to consider my layout (w/o reverb). It's noise floor is almost nonexistent. The layout does not include the final tweaks per Dogears suggestions such as the 180K over the 100K OD intro. Ceramic .0012 w/bleed 250K across the CL2 to dial out the harshness. HTH Good luck with your build. I'm very satisfied w/my HAD cloned Bassman. BobW 8)

I hate to say this, but you're going to mod a Blackface? The vintage crowd is going to crucify you!

However, if you insist, there are a few good layouts floating around. If you decide to use mine, make sure it's the latest version with all of the corrections and dogears tweaks.

Hi again folks, i forgot to say the Bassman has already been hacked around (not by me) so i dont mind starting on this one, i have a couple of lovely Blackface combo's i wouldn't dream of tearing up, i'll keep everyone posted and in the meantime if anyone wants to post a fully tweaked Norm Bob Dogears schematic.. i wont mind a bit..

Peace My Brothers.
