How is the Express chassis attached to the cab? I know of those threaded clips, but don't see those on any of the Francesca build pics. What's a good source for any chasis-to-cab connecting hardware?
Also, what tubes sockets do you all prefer (and why)? Due to size requirements, I'm leaning towards the octals that fit in a 1 1/8 hole. Once again, where do you get them?

You can used caged nuts from mcmaster carr online.

Do a search for "captive nuts" once you get there.
For my own builds, I cap my chassis with 1/2" aluminum bar and tap the bar directly to accept a 1/4" bolt.
For tube sockets, I use ceramic from antique electronics.
