What pray tell is a flea flicker (not the American Football play)?

What do you call those threaded clamps that attach to the chasis flanges that allow you to connect the chasis to the head box from the bottom?

These are flea flickers. They are the terminals used on the original TW's

flea clips really look a little different.. these look more like a trident fork..LOL the flea things were clips, or flea clips. But no matter what you call them..these were what were used in Kens Express, so they must have some mojo to using them.
this is more what the fleas look like..

Talking of Keystone, have they just hiked their prices or something? The 1509-4 (my favourite) has got about 50% more expensive - even for 1000+ :(
in the wilds of Borneo, and the vineyards of Bordeaux, Eskimo, Arapaho, move their bodies to and fro...

its very possible.. I know transformers may also rise, since the price of copper is up about 70%. So they have to change the price to reflect the higher cost of the parts and metal used.

My power trannies went up several dollars each on my last order. Both metals AND transportation costs are going up. I was able to eat this increase, but the next price increase will probably get passed on.

This sort of thing is inevitable when manufacturing booms, though. And with the energy crunch it's worse because metals are heavy, and more expensive to move around. Part of the price we pay for access to cheap manufactured goods and imported consumables is the increased demand for the raw materials and petroleum resources.
