I find the MPP's to be "brighter" with more of an edge than the 6PS. Not in a bad way, in fact they are more "chimey" on the cleans. I mostly notice the difference in what it does to the OD tone - better with the 6PS, in fact on a 6ps build it seems you can put an edge on the OD by selectively using MPP's here and there ahead of the section.

Yes, that's what I hear as well. In fact compared to an all MPP amp the 6PS seems a tad dull. Personal preference, I like the chime and ping in the MPP's.
