new error message
this started today while trying get to the garage index.
Parse error: parse error, unexpected '?' in /home/content/p/a/p/papaoj/html/forum/index.php on line 466
had to use a google link and then use the "jump to" feature at bottom of page.
is this on my end or on the forums server?

Had to use a link to a topic to access and navigate as you did.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird , and they take Prozac to make it normal.

Re: new error message
I had that earlier - couldn't get in, no-how.
The first thing that came to mind was - did that server move actually happen yet, or is it happening now?

Re: new error message
Thank you Omar, thought I saw your golden letters.
It happened fast, and was wonkey, first I couldn't get in, then it wouldn't let me leave.
And in those desperate minutes I wondered what if I really was the only one
left and if so what would I talk to my self about, maybe verbally bash the
inner republican about the ears with loose allegory.

PHP problem. Omar found it.
This weekend we are trying to move the site to it's new home.
Re: new error message
I got hammered by three or four viruses yesterday.
I couldn't logon here so I Googled the forum and used one of the links there.
Instant bells and sirens going off, two or three got by somehow.
I spent all of yesterday trying to get my PC cleaned out from it......

Re: new error message
I have this net work package one care thing for the small network in my shop.
The only thing over the last few days that "it" had me do was to download a
malicious adware program remover from the microsoft site.
It might be related, but no viruses. I had an issue with adware programs that
would hijack my system, they can be just as bad as a virus. That windows
one care thing has been ok so far, no issues with my bench/office network.

Yeah one was a Win32 Trojan-Gen virus.gearhead wrote:Ruh roh, my antivirus just stopped one. Hope it shut the connection before any got through. '

There were a couple others that I can't remember the name of now.
There was also a .dll file that got installed on my hard drive called Digeste.dll
When I checked the properties of that some Russian guys name popped up!
http://www.greatis.com/appdata/d/d/dige ... emoval.htm
Check your System32 file for that dll.
I use Avast.
I think it stopped the viruses/Trojan's from entering but it was still in my temp files.
Spybot Search & Destroy (free) got rid of a couple others.
You should set your computer to do a scan on bootup, that way none of the junk is loaded into your system when it scans.
Also you can do it in safe mode.
But be warned that if you use a USB keyboard it won't work because the necessary drivers don't load.
Also, don't forget to empty your System Restore file by turning it off, rebooting and then enable it again.
Viruses can target that directory to keep the infection going.
