Jim, your the first person I've talked to that's ever said that. I've lived in Californica my whole life and never heard of it. My 88 year old dad has been here over 60 years and neither has he.Southbay Ampworks wrote:Happened to me a few years back, too. I got a state tax credit for next year's return. Thanks for paying us too much, Jim.
Gary, that's exactly the first thing I did. I'm retired from the Federal Government and the least amount they will let me have deducted for the state is $5.00 a month. Spend my $60 wisely Arnold.gahult wrote: Adjust your deductions so you owe. If you need to you can even have an additional amount withheld for a length of time to lessen the amount you have to pay. But, always have to pay.
Gary
Gray Davis was the guy Arnold led the charge to have removed. Funny thing is, the state is worse off for it according to the some pundits.Southbay Ampworks wrote:Voodoo_Man, yeah, it shocked me, too. Can't remember the exact year, might have been in 2001-2003 before Arnold took over. That was also the year that they tripled the car & truck registration fees. Then Pete Wilson (was that his name?) was yanked as governor, Arnold came in and repealed that DMV registration triple bump.
I don't think so. Here's what their FAQ site says.UR12 wrote:That's total BS. Are they going to give you interest on the amount of time you have to wait on your money. Or how about charging the state a late penalty for not refunding your money in a timely fasion.

Yup, one guy does nothing and the next guy does the wrong thing. You wouldn't happen to live in Wyoming? I don't think they even have a state tax. But the FBI is always watching.stelligan wrote:
Yikes! It was Gray Davis. That's when my wife and I packed up and moved out of Sacramento.
Voodoo_Man wrote:Nope, Nebraska. And sorry, I already have my state return back. We first moved from Sacramento to the Kansas City area on the Kansas side. Kansas is still withholding their state income tax returns. And Sibelius has just been tapped by Obama for HHS! What a crock....stelligan wrote:

Then we got Hilary as the secretary of state. She's an idiot.Voodoo_Man wrote:Nope, Nebraska. And sorry, I already have my state return back. He doesn't want to subject his family to drive by shootings, muggings and drug dealers, thats why. Another idiot.

It's a coming. People can only take it in the shorts for so long before they react. Just drove by the high school and another full size school bus with 3 kids on it. My dad asked................."Why do you think they tint the windows? I see that sh*t all the time."jspax7 wrote:When is the "Tea Party"? I'd love to participate.
If you had a child who was as reckless with money as the government is, you would quit giving him money, rightjspax7 wrote:When is the "Tea Party"?
