Tektronix 2213 60MHz Dual Trace Oscilloscope

Post by gahult »

Hey I scored one of these today at swap meet.

Tektronix 2213 60MHz Dual Trace Oscilloscope
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tektronix-2213-60MH ... illoscopes
It's like new condition. :)
$100.00 :)

Also picked up bags and bags and plastic boxes of caps, resistors, etc.
30+ lbs. for $30.00
Man there a lot of sorting to do there but, already found some CDE caps.
Also an Icom 2 meter handy talkie for $30.00.
Other stuff too but, just some stuff for ham radio gear repair...lighting strike.
I forgot how much I like swap meets. :)

Daaaaaamn, Gary - looks like you struck paydirt. Even if only a quarter of it is musical amp kinda values, it looks like a haul.

Scope looks like it's more than adequate for most things.

Congrats.

How'd you beat that $349 price on that link?

Tim,

I got mine at the swap meet, the one I pointed at is a similar item.

Sorting is good therapy but, alas now I need a magnifier to achieve the final result................hmmm....................hope that doesn't translate over to searching for wood. :)

Gary,

I honestly had a dream yesterday about cleaning out some old guys garage after a long electronics business scoring all kinds of stuff.

Glad my dream came through for you. :D Now when is my turn?

He has about 2,000 tubes :) :) :) :) :) :) :) he just got rid of some EL34's :( :( :( :( but, he may have more :) :) :) :) .
He has a bunch of other ones also. I gave him a list.
Said he has 6 or 8 tube testers but, they are vintage, old, nice condition, so he won't part with any. :(
Asked if he had any old iron around. NO
Oh well, will have to stay in touch in case things change.

My sister in law has a radio repair business and she save tubes for me and I have not received the last box of tubes from her yet, I need to go get them.

My recently received amp books from Tony Zottola has some amp projects using old radio tubes so I thing I my go that route on one build.
It has 50L6 power tube with 12ax7. Another project uses 12be6, 12ba6, 12av6, 50c5 and 35w4 lineup.

There is a kinda famous one near here in Sunnyvale. Deep in Silicon Valley. Should be starting up in a couple of months. I haven't been for years. Last time I went there was a guy selling LEDs by the pound. Reds, yellows and greens, 20,30,40 ma mixed. Ever seen ten pounds of leds? Anyway, I bought a guarter pound for $5 I think. Still got 99.9% of them.

Nice scope dude.
