HRM pre OD networks

Post by pedro »

Guys,

just converted my amp to HRM post OD stack.

at present using the 33K slope 390pf treble cap and .022 tone caps.
Going to mess with different slope resistors etc.

I like it but I still have the original non HRM pre OD set up as >150K into 100K OD trimpot into 68K grid.

I want to try the lower gain pre OD networks -

Friom the plate of CL2 what have you found is most effective pre OD signal chain for the Ford type tones ?

Or what do you like ?

cheers
Pete

I sent you a detailed PM with the correct values. You have to religiously do all of the suggestions as a baseline. Let me know how she turns out!

Dogears,
I'm still in the layout and ordering parts stages, but I was going to leave space on the board to be able to try both of those networks. Would I just use the values from the skyline schematic, with the hybrid-a topology? your post makes it sound like there is a better starting point,
thanks,
