Hello everybody.
First post here.
I am an spanish guitar player and soundtrack composer.
I have been visiting this forum for a couple of months.
Although I don't know much about electronics I'm fascinated
by tube amp building, so this place has become addictive.
I thank everyone here for sharing so much, it shows how much
you all love your work and/or hobby.
Today I ordered a London Power book about speaker cabinet building.
I have friend who is a flamenco guitarist and guitar builder who will
help me build a speaker cabinet in his workshop. Maybe a 2x12 or a detuned 1x12.
Has anybody tried a detuned cab with a Dumble type amp?
And did you like it?
I'd like to give back something to this forum, as I said
I'm very ignorant regarding electronics but I know a thing or two
about spanish style classic guitar building which is a highly secretive profession in Spain, although they don´t goop the bracing inside guitars.
So if anyone is interested...
Thank you for your dedication to this forum.

I have tried the Detuned cabinet a few times
It is OK for playing at really low levels, otherwise it is a no go for me.
