Look for a HiFi quality output tranny - equivalent to the Dynaco if you want to capture the Rocket vibe.

The Taylor schematic in it's most recent rendition will have everything right... you can grab the latest from Ron Worley's post on the Trainwreck files...

With no 5V tap you either have to add a stand alone 5V transformer or go with the SS rectifier... the Liverpool is a good guide for that.

The output transformers that these amps use was not intended for guitar amps initially. It is the winding protocol on these that makes them a bit different... rhinson is the real transformer expert here on the forum and he can explain all this better than I can.

There are lots of these being shipped out and built with right now so soon we should have some data points on their performance.
