OD/Clean switch?
Is there a manual OD/Clean switch in addition the the foot-pedal, on most ODS's? I've looked at some pictures, and can't seem to find a manual switch for this..

I've never seen this on a Dumble, but I include it on my builds. do you have a wiring diagram for that? I'm sure I could figure it out, but it's esier if someone else already have it

just use spst toggles to ground the relay circuit just like the footswitch does.

hm..
would I need a switch that is wired just like the relay, and then a spst to ground the relay, and one spst to choose between relay/manual switch?

Assuming that all your footswitch does is complete the relay coil connection to ground...
You will simply need an SPST switch that will do exactly the same thing. It will actually override the footswitch. (IOW, the manual switch will have to be "off" for the footswitch to work)

Anyone here using the Bangkok chassis (70s chassis)? There's a Pedal/Manual switch on the front. How should I wire my relays - it's supposed to control the PAB and the OD, so there two separate relays instead of the original 70s OD/Clean only.
I was thinking of using the front Pedal/Manual switch in series with the PAB cum OD switch (in parallel) to assign +6V relay power to activate the relay.
That means when it is switched to Manual, relay power is routed to the Manual lug and in parallel to PAB and OD. Any switching performed on the footswitch (Pedal) has no effect as there's no power routed to the footswitch. Likewise for the Pedal position, the operation is the vice versa of what I mentioned.
I assume this is a similar to the one suggested in the post?
Anybody have a better suggestion.

Ok.. So I need a shorting jack for the foot switch jack, so that when I remove the jack, the circuit will be closed. Then I use the spst switch to operate the relay, in stead of using the foot switch.
That way the manual switch both controls OD/Clean and Manual/Footswitch mode (the switch has to be closed to make the footswitch work).
One question... you say that the only thing the footswitch does is ground the relay coil.. I've read that the relay circuit shouldn't be grounded, but be isolated from the rest of the amp. I thought that the footswich just opened og cloesed the relay coil circuit....

Let me se if I can read this correctly.
The board supplies volage to the coil, through the red wire. After the coil, there is a black lead that goes to a manual/foot switch.
If it's in "foot" mode, the current flows through the blue wire, to the green multi-pin contact, then to the foot switch, back to the multi-pin contact, and then to ground.
If the foot switch closes, current flows through the coil, and when the foot switch openes, the current stops there, and the relay switches.
If the manual/foot switch is in "manual" mode, and the foot switch is disconnected, the switch will either ground the coil, or unground it, since the foot switch is removed.
The blue switch both acts as a manual/foot switch, and a Clean/OD switch, right?
Now....could someone please reply "exactely, you got it!", if not, I'll go crazy I think

If I use a 12V transformer for this circuit, how many volts will it put out to the coil? If I plan to use 5V relays, what transformer-voltge should I use?

That particular rectifier circuit is a voltage doubler so I use a 6.3-0-6.3 transformer with the CT and one leg to supply 12+ VDC. If you've already got a 6 volt rectifier worked out, I wouldn't bother with this one. I only used it because I was trying to replicate a Dumble.

I used the heaters to supply 6VDC for the relays. Here's the schematic. You can see how plugging in the footswitch lifts the connection to the panel switch.

This last circut doesn't use ground at all, if I'm correct?
I liked the first one because it uses the multi pin contact, but the last one seems pretty simple to make. I guess it depends on if I need more than one relay.
Can I use the power supply from the last schematic, and still use the switching from Normsters schematic?
