Trainwreck logos

Post by Aurora »

Looking for suitable pictures to make a decent wreck logo....
Does anybody have a picture, something like the train in the Wreckless logo, without the text, or something else usable thatn the official Twreck logo?

PS: My own drawing skills REALLY sucks! SO that's not an option.....

Sorry couldn't resist.. :D I did attempt to google a logo and got to reading this LONG post on another board about the logo and copyright infringement and all sorts of stuff, people were lighting torches and it was ugly. You could use maybe just the outline of the train and insert your company name in its form perhaps (if that made sense). Good luck.

Some folks would like to see the original for non-infringing "parody" use. Like whenever I get one done and slap a "Clusterf***" logo on it. (I'm sure my first execution will also qualify as parody.)

I might be able to convince my fiance to try and make a Cluster!@#$ logo in the TW format. It sometimes takes weeks to get any good work out of her, but she's the one that helped me with my TW logos.

I guess that was what I was looking for,- some sort of "association" logo, - not the original, with potential infringements.
Maybe something like the train in the "Wreckless" logo - somebody might even want to engrave or carve the front panel.... no?

EDIT: I have been surfing around, with out any luck, so far.
Only kiddy stuff...........

Do a Google search for Train logo making sure to click on the images tab at the top to narrow the search down.

That should give you a bunch of logos to work with.

In fact, if people come up with one they'd like to modify that we can call The Amp Garage logo, I'd be happy to make some TW faceplates with our own Amp Garage logo.

I'm still trying to get time on the laser at my old job...I have enough wood for a dozen faceplates, I just need to convince the powers that be that it's a good idea for me to use this expensive equipment when I don't even work there anymore....

I'm building a small amp(P/P 12AT7 or ECC99) with a Wreck front end and figured I'd make a Little Toot (I think I can, I think I can...) or Toy Train logo for the front panel. These are a little obtuse in the reasoning department, but old guys like me would get the connection. 8)

Only if you can accept things like she promises to help, then bitches when you ask what the status is after 3-4 *weeks*. It friggen took her 4 weeks to paint a 10X12 bedroom.....white!

Here is the old train I used in the WreckLess logo without the lettering. I'll be working on printing the WreckLess logo on veneer and applying it to a wood faceplate soon.
