Ahhh, I saw that it is there for perspective. But yeah, if I built a 67 vette from the ground up it would most definately have my name on it!

I built a USACG Strat style guitar that looks like a strat but it has my name on it. Why? Because it is not a Strat.

Regarding whether it is cool to put the Trainwreck logo on a Trainwreck inspired clone: It's not cool because it is not a Trainwreck. And that is my opinion. Your opinion (and others) of course may vary.

Not trying to stir the pot. I am new to the board, but as a DIY'er I like to take credit for my own work. So anything I make, like Fender and Marshall, however inspired, will have my own name on it.

I'm thinking "Keithrick Car-Ash" for my first amp. What do ya think? :D

Short for: Keith, Carley and Ashley (my two daughters)

I don't think the world is ready for a split-bumper "keithrick" Hot Rod.

My friend, you may do as you like. I will do as I like and others will do as they like.

Are you building a "keithwreck" ? I'd like to see some pics! :D

I've already had the 71 Split Bumper Camaro Hot Rod! LOL. My Brother and I built a 468 big block for it! Very fun.

I am considering building either a Wreck or Dumble clone. Just starting to research now. Looking for the best schematic's and layouts to work from. I am leaning toward a Wreck. I already had a Fuch's although it was a Fender mod.

Sorry to stir the pot last night, had a few beers.

eheh! Now you just need a LP, a TW, and a Marshall 1960A 4x12 and then the neighbors can call the cops!

Build the wreck...come over to the dark side! 8)

Faceplates were made by me. I made 4 at once so I could experiment with woodburning. I just tried to recreate the faceplate from Ingrid (just the letters, not picture). Here's a pic. Myself, I think I like a nice plain cherry faceplate with nothing on it. What do you think?

Looks good, What did you use to burn the wood? A special tool? I would use that one you made on your clone. BTW- I saw the card Ken sent to Mark Abbott, he seems like a cool guy!

BTW- I decided on building a wreck. I emailed Dana regarding perf board and Moose regarding trannies. I think I am heading to the dark side

Looks good Allyn! Where'd you get those octal sockets? I'm using regular ole' fender type sockets and they're a little small for the holes in the chassis.

Hi Jeph, got them from Greg last year. I think they are from AES.

Well...almost made the April 1st Trainwreck explosion!

3:00 a.m. and I've sniffed all the solder I can for one day.
