Hi I have completed my build and did the first test.... I hooked up a bulb limiter with a 40 watt bulb. With the standby off and the power turned on I do get a light at the on/off Indicator but I also see a dull orange glow in the bulb limiter. I turned it off. Any suggestions on how to proceed??
damn found it I miss wired a lead on the board..... be back soon
well.. fixed that wire but I still have a dull orange glow on the bulb limiter??

I believe that what you're describing is exactly what you want to be seeing. There's something wrong in the amp if the bulb in the limiter doesn't quickly fade down to the dull glow. You can plug a known-good amp into the tester to verify this.

Right, if you have a short in the amp the bulb will shine at full brightness ! I use a 100 watt bulb in my current limiter.
