This is a hybrid Rocket-style amp, with Dana's VVR, which I am pleased with. It's pretty much finished - I mean, I gigged with it last night, and it sounded great and didn't blow up, so I guess it's finished ! I still have to add the awesome faceplate from Lonely Raven, light, and put it in a cabinet.
I had an oscillation problem, but glueing a sheet of aluminum foil to the roof of my speaker cabinet, and wiring it to the speaker jack ground made it go away.
It is my best build yet... I encourage all those out there who may be nervous or disappointed with thier first builds to keep building ... they get better !
And, the resources available from the people in this forum...well, I couldn't have done this without you, and I thank you all. Special thanks to RJ for putting together a great platform to build a great Rocket-inspired amp.
