nasaly tight
Hello, I built the "tweaked DeLite" from scratch with 2-6v6, 345vts PT,(clean and OD channel only with no PAB switch) and a cheap 18watt OT. The voltages are in the ballpark but I get a nasaly OD tone.A super light touch sounds right but when I dig in it gets thin and tight. I know great tone is a combination of MANY factors but are there any that come to mind? Thanks!

Did you put the right value "snubbers" on V2?

From reading most of the D'lite mod posts I've gathered that the "tweaked" schem was tailored for 6L6's. I was wondering myself how it would work with 6V6's.

Try different tubes in V2, before heating up the soldering iron.
I have more often than not, tried "modifying" an amp, only to realise, that swapping tubes could have made the same difference.

Thanks for the responses! The snubbers were correct. I went with the 100k/1.5k/10uf setup on the first tube with no 44M/.05. I was also looking for better cleans and for me the OD felt better this way. Thanks for the insight!
