I just seen this on D'Lite forum... so your plan is to offer this as a kit, great news.

One question, what about a PT for us Europeans.

brownnote,

Nice build and size. Been looking for a box to fit in the bottom of a combo where the reverb pan used to be. With controls and jacks on top, that might work for me. Where did you source the box?

Thanks

I was going to lay it out exactly that way too...this box is an off-the-shelf steel box by Hammond IIRC, and it doesn't work well for the back of the combo thing because the speaker magnet just grabs it!

thanks this one is twice the size of the last one, which was point-to-point...it sounds great, but I'm building another one HAD style (as close to original as possible) as a baseline for comparison.

When you dial in your Dumbleator settings, how much attenuation is appropriate from input to send? Looking at Scott's 'Bludotone In The House' photo, it looks like the Dumbleator is set so the signal is attentuated by a factor or 10 - so 10V in = 1V out. Does that sound about right?

IIs it possible to get a DLator to fit in the bottom of a DLite head or is that impossible?

I think it varies with the application.
It looks like 1:1 for the outboard gear I'm using...unity on both sides with the send and return at about 12:00-1:00 does the trick without clipping the input.

Definitely possible, that's actually the design goal.
