I took a powered floor monitor to a date over the weekend, only to find it had a bad intermittent crackle, like a bad solder joint or dirty jack. It is a pretty low-hour Turbosound TFX122M wedge but unfortunately several years old & now out of warranty.
I opened it up expecting to touch up the input jack joints but noticed that the wiring harness from the power amp to the DSP module was very melted on one end. I haven't measured with any power, on but the color-coding makes me think that the melted wires are NOT the + voltage.
I have emailed a service center about a replacement cable but I am not optimistic that it will be straight-forward to get the part, sign of the times & all that.
Does anyone know what I might search for to replace the plug? Hoping to find one with some leads that can be soldered/shrink wrapped to the existing cable (haven't looked at the amp end yet as that is a much bigger job to get to)
Plug looks to be about 3mm X 23mm, 11-pin with 2mm spacing.

I would just put all of your measurements into a Mouser search and see what comes up, you might get lucky. Probably easier to find a male and female part with the same pitch and replace both. Hard to tell if it's JST or Molex or something else. Connector kits on ebay/amazon are relatively inexpensive.

Thanks, I will try wading through that if I have to. Had a quick look at Mouser earlier, hard to know now they even categorize that part.
Opened a ticket with the manufacturer, hoping they will have the direct replacement available.

Did you buy these speakers new or used because that connector looks more abused then melted!

Brand new in the box.
I am suspecting some sloppy work at the factory, as there are a couple other heat scars on some other wires.
The plug in question was buried under a humidity-sealed cover, on the backside of the wedge side-panel. You have to work a little to get to it.
