Doesn't sound even sleepy!

Not a big sounding amp, but the mid character and clean to mean can't be beat..

I changed the Gain and Bass to 1:00 for a thicker sound.. It's not so bright

Trick (I think) is just deciding on what the top gain setting you want with all tone controls in the middle, then moderate the controls until its smooth but just below the treble you really want and adding a teeny tweak of presence for every -tweek of treble.

Like on a BF Fender. Give it a ton of signal and lose gain by dumping tone. It sounds great though! They have a lot of face and not much bass.

I am pretty sure a soud like this would cut through a mix!
No need for a big sound in a band, but the right frequencies to get through ;)
Clean to mean is really great .

Fred.
