I'm sitting on a set of fender pa100 transformers. I really want to build a big clean amp for prototyping tube and fet preamp pedals. I was thinking of a AC100/brown black silver twins/ showmans or a dumble small special.
Any input is very much appreciated,

I prefer the AC100 but am not sure if the PT can handle the heater current (6.9A)

And the Fender sockets need to be rewired from working with 6L6s to 34s.

Was planning on building a new enclosure. It really comes down to a Small Special or AC100. Thanks for the input.
