I suppose it’s possible that guitar signal leaking into the LFO from adjacent components might help start a sluggish oscillator.

I guess anything is possible, maybe even probably since the oscillator shares the same vacuum as the PI.

I miss stated what is happening and didn't realize till Iljust now what I was saying. sorry bout that. 🤣

When I turn on my amp the first time during the day, you can hear.a slight static sound throbbing to the trem. But no signal into the amp. But once I strike a note it's gone.

When I get a chance shortly, I will post an audio clip of it.

I will start a new thread when I do that.

The reverb on my Quad Reverb is like that…when it first turns on, no reverb, then after 30 seconds or so, it kicks in. 🤔

Replacing the trem tube with a stronger tube will usually fix this. I prefer to replace the 3300Ω/25µF cathode R/C of the oscillator with a 5mm red LED. Doing so will increase the tremolo signal considerably and will prevent drop out on the fast and slow speed. I do this to all my tremolo circuits.
Thanks for the tip Steve, will definitly try it, because the trem disappears on fast speeds.
