I decided to finally work on my old Dual 505 turntable.
The biggest issue was removing the platter. I found a few good videos on You Tube about servicing them. One was particularly good as it dealt with the turntable going backwards.
Basically, both the belts need to be replaced, but the question is who makes quality belts?
I thought I would join “Vinyl Machine” but they aren’t taking new members.
Thanks for your assistance.

Sorry, no help here, but if you had a much older player, I'd recommend antique radio forum. They have a good breakdown on servicing at least one style changer (happens to be one I have). Just bringing it up so others might be aware, since their name indicates radios and not record players. Good luck finding info on yours!

Thanks for your support.
Vinyl Engine isn’t taking anymore users. I will check out HiFi Engine.
