Signal generator recommendations?

Hey guys, can any of y'all recommend a good signal generator? I've decided that I need one to go with my little digital o-scope. While I see a variety of them for sale, I really have no idea what I'm looking at or which features are most important for guitar amp use. If some of you more experienced folks could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. Small, light, and reasonably priced would be a plus, but I could probably get by with two out of three.

I bought a used Leader signal generator a number of years ago. It works wonderfully and was built to probably last forever.

Lately though, I've been using the arbitrary waveform generators built into my Oscilloscope, a Rigol MSO-5000. 4-channel scope (100mhz), 16-channel logic analyzer, two built-in signal generators. It's also fun for doing Bodé plots of guitar pickups using an external integrator and exciter coil.

One thing to look for is an attenuator built into the generator's output. It is useful when you want to test an amp with all the pots turned all the way up without making square waves on the output of the amp.

I use an old EICO 377 that runs on 6K6 tubes. Easy to repair, adjustable output, no RF stuff to deal with. Highly recommended.

Holy cow! 5,000,000,00 kHz. That's usually represented in Angstroms. Well out of my range of hearing.
It should output light.

I've never tried it any higher than infra red.
