Just tried, made more difference on the low end than the actual speed, maybe because of the taper?

Some history on that 5.1M resistor. When I first built my revibe there was no 5.1M. But when I put the speed switch to slow, the LFO would drop out just before I reached the slowest setting of the speed pot (which occurs when the pot is set to max resistance of 3M). My quick fix was to put the 5.1M across the speed pot which now set the max resistance to 1.9M. Now I could turn the speed to it's slowest without any dropouts. This issue is probably different for different amps running different voltages.

If I was going to remove the range switch, I would also remove the 5.1M. In fact, I just listened to the TON mod you put in your Ry Cooder amp. Sounds great. I suggest rebuilding the LFO using the same component values as in the Cooder amp.

Thanks for the background on the 5.1M resistor. I actually compared this trem to the borderline I did and I prefer this one, plus I like that I have two different flavours in different builds. Everything is working great now that I removed the range switch, so no need for a change in my opinion. Would still be good to find another option for the fast/slow but nothing too pressing
