Clone Fender 5C1

Hello everyone!
I'm sobas66 from Italy! A passionate tube amplifier builder.
I wanted to show you this 5C1 built with all vintage parts.
I replaced the 6sn7 with a 6b8 and slightly modified the circuit.

It works very well even though it has a low volume for a guitar..

Congrats on the build. Fender in front, party in the back! A very strange selection of parts indeed, I don't see selenium rectifiers too often. Is there a handle on top? If so, how does that work?

There is glass on top so you can admire all the components.
The selenium rectifier is just for beauty, inside the transformer there is a diode bridge
There are strange stories around selenium rectifiers. ..I didn't trust using it.

I assume you mean a 6SJ7 which is a pentode where as a 6SN7 is a duel triode.

I would like to suggest to you to drop down one of those 75K resistors on the input jacks to the more normal 68K, or make one 68K and the other 47k.

What is your plate voltage on the output tube and what is it idling at for current draw?

I used a 6B8 valve a pentode and the input resistors I used one 50k and one 10k.
With the anode resistance at 240K and 100K grid I obtain:

54v to the anode and 2.9v to the cathode and 27v to the grid

On the 6v6 there is 194v at the grid and 310v anode

Please review your voltages for me, so you say you have 194 VDC on pin 5 of the 6V6?
