ODS - Single 12" Speaker - Rear Oval Dimension Check

Hey Guys,

I'm closing in on having an ODS ready to use and have the cabinet almost finished except for the back panel. I went through some old posts and saw that the rear oval was listed at 9x11 inches.

When I laid that out it looks really big. I don't want to deviate from the working formula if it's correct but I would like to confirm before I start removing wood I can't put back.

Does anybody know for sure?

9 * 11 is correct

I can't help but think that is a very similar port size to the actual speaker.... there is probably some correlation on that?
