Having made a few of these things and reading a lot of posts, the preamp voltages seem to be in a pretty tight grouping. Power tubes have a much wider range. I'd like to see a show of hand on your preferred B+1 for either 50 or 100 watt (not lite) heads using 6l6 or EL34 variants. Any comments on what you like or don't like are also welcome.
Thanks, Skip
PS I like on the high side 460-470 VDC.

Re: Power tube plate volt poll
Skip,
I don't know what I like, I've only had the ODS working for a week now. But as built my dialed in at 446 volts and I really like the tone, especially the clean sound. I'm still working on Overdrive channel... I'd be curious what you believe is the consensus on all the tubes?
Optimum's I gathered from other posts:
440-460 - Power tubes
290-300 - PI
195-205 - Everything else
