Ok....Thank you everybody

problem solved..

I know for sure that the orange wire was grounded in the last amp it was in.

I did add the CT 100ohm resistors and now im rockin! Perfect.

I played with the orange ungrounded and grounded.didnt seem to be any difference.

had 2 volts on it (orange). either way, my ears are currently ringing, from playing and not from buzzing!!!

Again, thank you everybody.. sometimes it just takes another perspective, and everybodies expertise doesn't hurt either!

thank you!

Interesting. I've fixed a few amps that hummed by removing the board grounds, specifically the cathodes, OFF the buss.

Live and learn. My "Bass Wreck" is close to ready, just waiting on a few parts. W'll see.

Just wanted to post an update.

Everything is working as it should!

This is my first hands on with one of these things, (im a pretty diehard blackface fender kinda guy, as you could tell from some of the parts i used) obviously, this is a different animal.

I'm really enjoying it! Thanks again to everybody not only for the help I received in this post, but for all the knowledge that was already here!

Johnny
