There were two minutes today when it would have been possible to figure out the SN of the donor amp for this thread....

Not exactly sure which "donor" your referring too? But?

A couple of the SSS schematics had voltages listed for the FET, which gave a clue as to the operating voltage and how HAD was biasing it. You can of course set it up as you choose, for some FET distortion or for more of a clean boost.

This amp slowly was sounding worse and worse. Got some new tubes today and its back to being one of my best amps!
