Custom amp made for Gatemouth

I read in Mix magazine that Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown had a custom amp made in New-Orleans...

Anybody knows the maker?

Peavey is in Meridian, Mississippi.

I used to live in Opelousas, Louisiana, in the heart of cajun country. There used to be this legendary amp/guitar guy in Lafayette, but he retired in 2001. I know people from all over the south and even east Texas used to bring him amps to work on. There's hardly a zydeco or swamp pop band whose guitar player didn't have an amp tweaked by this guy. Darned if I can remember his name, though. I wanna say Bud, but I don't remember.

I had a few leads in and around Lafayette but them guys were doing Tweed style amps but, and Gatemouth being a clean guy (MusicMan etc...)...

Both times I sawe Gate he was playin' MusicMan amps.
He was hawkin' the KJL's.
