Can anybody tell me what this 10M resistor does in the circuit?

It stops a pop when you switch to OD I believe.

This layout has 2 caps in series feeding the OD when the relay is engaged, which removes some bass from the clean signal so it doesn't overwhelm the OD entrance. The resistor provides a ground reference between the 2 caps, the difference without it is not extreme but is noticeable.

Here is the full layout, what two caps are you talking about that the 10M references to ground?

This might be exactly what I need to tame the bass on mine. :)
