That in itself, will give a complete noob, the confidence to build one...

Hurdle will maybe show it's ugly head but...it builds character and patience...

It appears the second pot there labeled "Presence", the 25K one, is actually a trim pot for the fixed bias. Layout also shows Ciff jacks rather than the original Switchcraft. IMHO the Cliff are better than the Switchcraft anyway.

A very nice layout - should work just fine.
