Anyone have a source for the "convenience outlet?"
I can't seem to find anyone who stocks a 120V grounded AC outlet for the back of the amp.

Mouser has all kinds. I'm surprised they don't have what your looking for.

Sheesh...I think I've found a business opportunity.

I have one in my Bassman that I'm not using. I'll consider it my retirement fund now.

Re: Anyone have a source for the "convenience outlet?"
I might have an extra one.... I'll give you a deal.... $24.95....
Kidding... I'll check when I get home tomorrow. If I have one it's yours.

Looks like REM Electronics has them for $15, but that's still kinda pricey.

I've got and old 2-prong laying around that I can stuff in the hole. Should be OK for running a wall wart. I think I'll check Home Depot for something as well. Man, Aphenol is mighty proud of the outlet.

And, sadly, it doesn't look like it's in stock.

$25 seems to be the going rate for the correct part, you can get them cheaper if you buy them in huge bulk.....but who needs them anymore!

Well, I wouldn't need one if I'd ordered one of your chassis. Unfortunately, I didn't want to wait that long and my new chassis has that huge fargin hole in the back.Funkalicousgroove wrote:$25 seems to be the going rate for the correct part, you can get them cheaper if you buy them in huge bulk.....but who needs them anymore!
Hmmm...maybe a tiny little cooling fan. lol

yeah, I had a couple of those chassis too, i got my outlets from Zack at Vibroworld. The whole reason I omitted the Jack in my amps is because of their expense.
