Very nice build Erwin :)

You didn't fancy having the FET on a footswitch? I find it a really useful addition now on these amps.

what colour/style are you doing the cabinet ?

Thanks Marcus!

For the Fet: I decided to do it true to the Bluesmaster layout this build.

Head cabinet will be a summer job: Black Tolex and black diamond Vox grillcloth.

Looks great, Erwin! Very clean build. No small dedicated transformer for the switching supply?

Thank you Dave! The relay supply is fed by a extra 0-12v tap on the PT.

Are they Savino's transformers or your Dutch ones you mentioned?

They are custom made by Marble in the Netherlands. Awesome set, I used it on my previous build too.
For the Steel String Singer I'm building I also ordered a custom xformer set from Marble.

Double checked, found the wire from B3 to the PI needed to be soldered
Everything else ok.
After start up got a nice 440V on the poweramp plates with 34mA per tube. (measures 37mV across 1 ohm resistors).
I got sound, it sounds smooth and turning the volume pot on the guitar half way gives the amp a sparkle, which is very nice and typical from what I've heard from bluesmaster amps
Also has a nice sustain on the clean. Pluggin a strat in the FET entrance was also nice ; more sustain, really singing and the mid scooped sound does a lot of good for a strat.
The PI needs adjustment and I dont know if Im satisfied yet , maybe more adjustments and tweaking.

Sounds great!

I tweaked my Bluesmaster around my Strats - it took some time, but sounds incredible :)

Erwin,

Some people wire the footswitch so that the PAB is activated with the OD to take the 1st tone stack out of the chain leaving just the OD tone stack. I've never done that so i teak the OD tone stack with the normal tone stack in line.

It's still a balancing act though if you play single coil guitars and humbuckerer guitars :D

Sounding great though. I'm sure you'll get it where you want it.
