Strange tings happen

Post by Wuh »

Thank you to allow me on this forum :D

As good as i can remember google introduced me to this forum because i was searching on how to letter a faceplate of an amplifier.Somewhere hidden in this forum my answer was there.I thought, well this looks like a nice community..sign up.In the process a question was asked..I believe it was "who was Ken Fisher" I know you gonna hate me but i had no clue.I'm no artist and my search is to learn the tube thing 8)
I had to Google the Trainwreck security question and Google gave me a Youtube link to Mat O'Ree Band in regard them playing a Trainwreck :D
For me the music is really awesome.Took me 35 years to find this kind of music again.Suggestions formore are welcome :P

Welcome Leon! A great adventure lies ahead for you, if you ended up here because of hearing Trainwreck amps. Matt O'ree is a fine player and it's great that Ken Fischer's legacy continues to live on. Also, be sure to check out Glen Kuykendall's videos on YouTube and his website, www.glenkuykendall.com. He has several original Trainwreck amps and was very much the original ambassador for Trainwreck. Glen is a helluva player and a long time member here. His playing style embodies the Trainwreck approach of cranking the amp and using the guitar Volume and Tone controls to control the clean to distortion transition. The ultimate expression in simplicity and tone. This forum was very popular quite a few years ago now and a lot of guys were learning about and building Trainwreck Express, Rocket, and Liverpool clones. It was a very rich time.
