Hi All,

I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hi and thank all of you for the great posts and suggestions. I have been a player for about 60 years now....started modding amps back in the 1980,s....wish I had all those blonde bassman heads back in my possession.

Anyhow, I have learned a lot in the past few weeks and plan to put this knowledge to use on one of my hotrod bassman heads.

I modded a lot of Bassmans when you could buy the Blackface ones for $250 and the Silverface for $100. Those days are GONE!

Many young guys are playing these old Fenders and I am asked to mod them constantly.
They don't sell anywhere that cheap in ND or MN.

Some of Rob Robinette's mods are so good sounding.

Thanks for all the kind words. Back in the 1980’s when I was playing a lot and modding amps, I bought several Black face and Brown face Bassman heads for $100.00 each...all were very nice...I wish I had them now !
