Hey All, I'm new to this forum,
I thinking of putting together the D'Lite amp, here's my question-I have an old Fender Super 210 60 watt amp parted out but still have the OT & PT which I believe fired up two 6L6's. The question: does anyone out there in AG land know where to get the actual specs/manufacturer for these and could they be used in the D'Lite build? How can one measure all the needed parameters if nothing is available? It'd be nice to save a little cash here, be green and recycle.

Those transformers will work just fine.However the Super 60 did not have a 5v rectifier tap so you will have to use a separate filament transformer to power the relays.
You will be right on as far as voltages go and the OT will work as well.
Actual specs are not really important because those transformers were used with exactly the same tube complement as the D'Lite 44.

Right. I'd try to find out the color code for the output transformer - since I'm pretty sure it's got taps for multiple impedances.

you'll get the super60 transformer wiring looking at the schematic on Aspen Pittman book.
I've done 3 clones out of super 60 chassis and irons, ( non hrm) and they are fine, but far from being defined "definitive amps".
BTW One of these that i still keep is excellent in making tones a la RF ( talk to your daughter period) with a tele.

question: so this is basically a hydrid of the dlite? I noticed a choke there which is not in the dlite circuit or is that a 5v transformer?

It's just the original choke of the super 60.
I have not used any additional transformer for the relay supply. Relay supply has been just derived from the 6.3 v winding ( rectified , filtered and a 7805). In those picture BTW is not shown the additional small PCB for this stuff.

I'm curious - what rectifier did you use on the 6.3 tap   - full-wave (2 diodes) or bridge (4 diodes)?

it's up to you to decide whether to use a 7805 or simply drop the excess of voltage coming off the bridge ( filtered with some 1000 uf) with a diode string , so to get the 5v dc for the relays.
