It would be fine for a Tweed Fender with 6L6 outputs , but for even with just a Bkackface bandmaster or Proreverb it would be pushed too hard as even these amps with a good power supply and good strong output tubes can top 30 watts of RMS power and top 48 watts of peak power!

Hello -
Uncertain what is behind the question. That Stancor is rated 35W "HiFi" with 150mA DC spec'ed for the primary. Would do 40W handily in guitar amp. Higher-voltage EL34 Express clone is just that. Or better perhaps, use sale proceeds from your A-3801 to buy full set of iron to build whatever is desired, as ~$500 seems the listing price on Reverb?
Best .. Ian

The express's power transformer is rated for 300mA, whereas most fender PTs are rated at 200-240mA. I doubt that this will blow a A3801 but I have not tried it

Been wondering the same only mine is a Pacific 11415 output. About to build a blackface tremolux and was wondering if it would work. Ended up buying a Classic Tone transformer just to be on the safe side.

The Pacific 11415 OT is 6k6 primary so if that is what you want in your tweed it sure can handle the power.
But I would choose the Magnetic Components transformer.

For tweed yes....but for blackface era Tremolux it calls for a 4k ohm secondary. Just was not sure if the 6.6k would work. I'll probably just stick with the Classic tone tranny.

For my brown faced Tremolux build I went with Weber PT W022798 and OT W022848 and Hammond choke 194B
Weber transformers aren't the best choice but I have had good track record since 2007 with these particular part numbers in about 4 different builds.
Normally ClassicTone or custom order Heyboer is my preferred choice. Mark

I used a SE Stancor A-8092 in a vibrochamp build. Sounds awesome
