I assimilated by turning my Bandmaster into a 183-ish, no loop, no brights, 102/stock blonde cap values PI back, balanced PI, 22k tail and 27k FB. Retains harmonic vibrato circuit.

Several points:

It's TERRIBLE on a load into my rig, but it's AMAZING plugged into a quad of G-1275s.

That sucks! There is nothing that can be done about it. I just wanted to whine.

I need a switching setup as it's just wired straight thru the OD and access around that would be nice.

It's hard to play just an amp with no effects. I keep going "ahhhhh.. " after every phrase to pretend there is reverb.

I didn't use much coax up front and the runs are long because of the layout... and it works great. I think Howard Dumble is on medicinal weed. I get what he does but it works ok without all the component testing and incantation. This is the best strat setup, ever.

Yes, it sounds excellent.. I have a scheme though.

3 pole 4 position switch, 3 caps, 3 trimmers, 1 10k pot. Spread out liftable small bright amounts all across the circuit. The response of these circuits is refined enough to barely tweak for near perfection. Humbuckers don't match without some bright to offset the darkness when on the neck pickup.

I said I'd never ruin this amp and that I would never build this circuit. lol

It RIPS with a tele! I think the OD section in a high plate amp can take more snubbing if OD1 has a small peaker and make a couple more numbers on the drive knob useful. As it is works great. More legato is lurking in the darkness though.

I have changed the NFB to 22k tail and 27k NFB to 8R tap. If I rearrange it to match the 183 schematics, exactly what is the difference in what I wll hear? I am completely unfamiliar with most NFB setups other than Fender or Marshall.

Skyline is insane. Left bass and mid caps same but swapped to classic's 330p and all the clouds have lifted with only a 100p bright on the volume.

This amp is very acoustic.

NFB converted. Now change output couplers and PI entrance cap.

The harmonic vibrato is interstellar with this circuit, clean or dirty.. sounds like eons of time piled up at the edge of eternity.

It works on ipad!

Not on mine. 2017 model updated to whatever the newest OS is. The link opens a new tab, with a media player looking thing. The little wheel spins for a few seconds, then the page changes to a triangle with a slash through it. Same deal using Chrome instead of the Apple browser.

Track works in Safari on laptop but not on iPad. Puzzle ...

It works fine here too, but it may be something is blocking it either on your network or something similar,
