Has anyone traced a Swart reverb schematic before? The AST and a few of their other amps (maybe all of their reverb amps, not sure) use a transformerless cap-coupled reverb with a 12DW7, the AU7 side to drive the tank, AX7 side for recovery.
I’d like to use this circuit in a personal project. I’ve never heard anyone say they thought the Swart reverb sounded bad...

Re: Swart 12DW7 Reverb
I have a gut shot somewhere of my old Swart Tremolo. I’ll see if I can find it and post.

Many thanks!

Some transformer-less reverb driver suggestions 1/2-way down the page in this link:

You could just go ahead and adapt that for 1 x 'AU7' driver triode

Thanks for the replies guys.

Sounds like the poster did copy it from a Swart (although he never comes out and says so). Pretty large load resistor on the recovery stage.
I also found this 12DW7 reverb on another forum:

It calls for a reverb tank that is interchangeable with the schematic up above. Between these two, I should be able to come up with something that sounds decent!

Re: Swart 12DW7 Reverb
Ampeg did this (6FQ7), as did Traynor (EL-84) with cap coupled reverb drivers. With a hi impedance input pan, it’s not difficult to get a nice reverb going.Swart hasn’t reinvented the wheel...
