If you are in the USA, you should consider a chassis from Allynmey. He's one of the seniors here. I recently got an express chassis from him and couldn't be happier. Check the sale section of this forum. I believe that drhulsey used the same chassis for his build. (I'm not slagging nik's product, it seems fine, just suggesting alternatives.) Shipping from Malaysia can be a cost issue as well. Hope this helps

1+ on Allynmey's chassis. They're tank-proof 8) There are some BOM's in the TW files. Mouser, Allied Electronics, as well as several of the members here are sources for parts. Moose (Toneslut) has great transformers.

Does Allyn have gray hair :?: Does he get a discount :!:

Slagg,

Sounds like you just got bit by the Trainwreck bug!!! Don't forget to consider the Liverpool or Rocket builds as well.

Have fun!

update to the tw'd 2204.i have added a shared cathode to the v1 tube using 330uf and 820 ohm resistor.the clean stays alittle fuzzy in a cool way when you roll off the volume on the guitar, grinds real well when cranked.od in front totally sceams with harmonics and feedback.just thought i would share this with you all.next will be full blown tw.iam gonna try to bld in a 5e7 narrow chassis(tight)hope i can lay it out without to much strangeness.i will be using solid core wire to lock in the dress of it all also, any suggestions to minimize buzz and oscalation would be great.thank you all for letting me be part of this great community merry christmas all and god bless :D
