Or anyone who knows for certain...
Besides the power cord itself, is any of the wire heavier than 20 AWG in the AC and DC power supplies? I have 18 on the power tube heaters, 20 to the preamp heaters and 20 in the signal path. I did a search, but no answers about the power supply.
Thanks

Either should be fine, but you've got to start using the search function, theres are a ton of pics of real dumble amps, BOMs for all D amps etc.

Re: For those who have seen insde real Dumbles
Please don't take this the wrong way. As I said above, I did search and have looked at pictures as well as BOMs. I wanted a direct answer from someone who has had hands on experience, no guesses. I have seen no picture with the wire gauge written on the wire, so I could only guess what the wire gauge was. The BOMs sometimes list things that are not true to original Dumbles, and I do not recall seeing anything specific about wire for the power section. The layouts and information in posts I've seen, have had nothing about wire gauge in the power supply, most info is about wire type and gauge in the preamp and some on the heaters.bluesfendermanblues wrote:Either should be fine, but you've got to start using the search function, theres are a ton of pics of real dumble amps, BOMs for all D amps etc.
As you say, there is ton of info here. I looked for a couple of days before asking.
