Anyone ever unlock and Iphone?

I just upgraded to a 6s plus and want to give my old 5s to my daughter.

Have any of you guys used any of the unlocking services and if so give a review or advice?

Shouldn't be necessary. Take the phone to whatever carrier you want to activate on, and they should be able to do it. Forced carrier locks are no longer legal.

You may have to get the current carrier to issue an unlock code. The new carrier may or may not be able to get it unlocked. Getting the current carrier to issue the unlock code can be a PIA.

You also have the CDMA/GSM issue. You are familiar with that, correct?

But depending upon who your new carrier will be, they might handle everything. Check with the carriers.
