No disrespect intended, but that's pretty stinkin funny right there!
HAD plays an uninspired, self conscience version of "Just Got Paid" (Pretty humorous choice, I'd say. ) while "Dude" makes screechy noises thru an expensive amp , using only 6-8 notes totally. He may be very talented but it isn't apparent in this clip.
To be fair , tho, I haven't made a vid of myself making screechy noises thru an expensive amp while HAD plays rhythm. I can't say that I could do any better.
I am but a humble caveman. What do I know of art.

I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,
I was going to say the same thing. I'm sure he has that as a ring tone on his cellphone. From the stories of taking a credit card number just to talk shop. Not sure how much of this is urban legend about the guy. Anyway it comes across funny on the video.
Electric Guitar Circus or some name like that. A release with Kimock, kaiser and really great slack key player who's name eludes me now. Lot of wicked dumble tones. Lots of truly phenomenal playing and only a few hints of Kaisers very different take on music. If you can find it check it out.
Kaiser was friends with the dead too so that might go a ways to explain his oddness.
I haven't seen that video but I suspect it has some merit beyond some giggles. If anyone has a copy or knows the name of it, or knows where i can find one please pm.
Thanks,
Shad

Welcome to the queue of 10,000 others, the video does pop up now and then on ebay
Anybody else notice the scarcity of information about A. H. Dumble on the net?
I mean if you Google his name not that much pops up.
I have only seen a few pictures of him, hardly any personal info.
I'm kind of late to the Dumble parade but have always like Robben Ford and Larry Carlton's tones.
Now I'm going to build a D'Lite 44 and I am excited to be able to own one of those type amps.
Mr. Dumble is almost like a Howard Hughes type persona in that there seems to be more myths than facts concerning his personal life.
I wonder if he has long fingernails.........
I have spoke with Henry several times on the phone he is an extremely interesting person. He sent me is video of a concert he played at McMurdo Station (Antartica) a few years ago. It also had a few clips of Henry scuba diving under the ice cap, burrrrr...

What's wrong with that video is not the effect or the playing ,what's wrong is the context.............
If that was Adrian Belew playing a weird solo over some Robert Fripp sequencer like riffs it would've been ok,expected and even inspirational.
