RJ! Like you need another amp!

Jelle, I don't think I want to touch the post-V1b coupling cap, because the clean channel tone is perfect, especially with the Volume pot dimed. It's wonderful, actually.

I'll mess with that 0.05uF coupler prior to the OD section later today.

I'm at a disadvantage here, because the only D-style I've played is a Two Rock something, and that was a year ago. Owner and I found it very difficult to adjust to taste. Good sounds, but fiddly as shit. But as I was playing last night, I was getting some sounds that made me say "Robben Ford", so I guess that's good news. Also, I'm being extra critical because I'm tuning the amp with zero effects. As soon as I put 'verb and analog echo in the loop, it was all ganja butter, and I forgot all about mods.

Head cab ripped from 18mm birch ply. Will tolex eventually. Feels good to house the amp, though.

Very nice build! Love the vox grill! I used black and red/orange chicken heads as well. I had white as well but ended up switching everything to black except the 2 knobs for the overdrive (drive and level) which i kept red . I tried using the green and yellow knobs as well (as I have seen on one of the amps with the green carpet covering) but it didn't look good , guess it needs green carpet to look good lol!

I am starting work on a Tweedle Dee next.

Keep the iron hot!

I like the offset handle... very functional!

Just out of curiosity, any of the OCD folks comment on that?
